The majority of school shootings have taken during Bill Clinton and the reign of George W. Bush. Exactly forty of 42 shots. Since its founding, America has always had guns and schools and about the same time. But surprisingly, forty shots were taken during his presidency! Consider also that these forty shootings occurred during a period when the number of gun laws and restrictions grown! At least during the Clinton regime.
Note that I did not understand intentional discharge of a weapon shooting at random. I’m also not counting the occurrences of this carnage, the use of a car (as in California in 1999) or any other type of instrument. The list of school shootings during the reign of Clinton as follows: February 9, 1992. Stockton, Calif., high school, two dead. First in May 1992. Brooklyn, New York, high school, four dead, nine wounded. 12th January 1993. Miami, Florida, high school, one dead. 18th January 1993. Grayson, Kentucky, high school, two dead. 25th March 1993. St. Louis, Missouri, high school, 1 wounded. 24th May 1993. Pennsburg, Pa., high school, one dead. 8th April 1994. Maryland High School, one wounded. 2nd February 1996. Moses Lake, Wash., high school, 3 dead, 1 wounded. April 15.1996. Washington, DC, high school, 1 wounded. 19th February 1997. Bethel, Alaska, high school, 2 dead, 2 injured. First in May 1997. New York City, New York, high school, 1 wounded. First in October 1997. Pearl, Mississippi, High School, 2 killed, 7 wounded. First in December 1997. West Peducah, Kentucky, High School, 3 dead, 5 injured. 15th December 1997. Stamps, Arkansas, 2 injured. 24th March 1998. Jonesboro, Arkansas, school, 5 dead, 10 injured. 24th April 1998. Edinboro, Pennsylvania, at school, 1 dead. 28th April 1998. Pomona, California, elementary school, 2 dead, 1 wounded. 19th May 1998. Fayetteville, Tenn., high school, 1 dead. 21st May 1998. Springfield, Oregon, high school, two dead. 15th June 1998. Richmond, Virginia, high school, two injured. 20th April 1999. Littleton, Colorado, high school, 15 dead, 28 injured. 20th May 1999. Conyers, Georgia, high school, six wounded. 19th November 1999. Deming, New Mexico, school, 1 dead. 6th December 1999. Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, school, four wounded. 29th February 2000. Mount Morris Township, Mich., elementary school, 1 dead. 26th May 2000. Lake Worth, Florida, school, 1 dead. 26th September 2000. New Orleans, Carter G. Woodson Middle School, 2 injured. 28th August 2000. Fayetteville, Arkansas, University of Arkansas, 2 dead.
The number of deaths during Clinton’s war on America is 51 dead and 83 wounded. The list of school shootings before and after Clinton are as follows: August 1, 1966. Austin, Texas, university, 14 dead. 12th July 1976. Fullerton, California, University, 7 killed, 2 injured. 5th March 2001. Santee, Calif., High School, 2 dead 13 injured. 7th March 2001. Williamsport, Pa., high school, 1 wounded. 22nd March 2001. El Cajon, Calif., high school, five wounded. 30th March 2001. Gary, Ind., high school, 1 dead. 15th January 2002. New York, New York, 2 injured. 16th January 2002. Grungy, Virginia Law School, 3 dead, 3 wounded. 2003, Case Western Reserve University Law School, 1 dead, 2 injured. January 10, 2003 in Orlando, Florida, at school, one dead. September 2003, Cold Spring, Minn., high school, two dead. 21st March 2005, Bemidji, Minn., high school, 10 dead, 15 injured. 20th October 2005, Saginaw, Michigan, high school, one wounded. 8th November 2005, Jacksboro, TN, high school, 1 dead, 2 injured.
The number of deaths for all the school shootings non-Clinton is 42 dead and 36 wounded. What is the explanation for the fact that 96 percent of school shootings have all of Clinton (aka Bubba) and George W. Bush (aka Dubya) assumed the presidency? Consider some possible explanations. During the pre-Clinton, there was not enough gun laws. But in the Wild West even before the Clinton era, there were only two school shootings! That, during the 215 years (1776-1991) in American history were the weapons available to our children. Of course, the explanation of the increase is the shootout during his reign is not the lack of gun laws.
is the declaration in the prevalence of drugs? Drugs, whether legal or illegal, have been used in America for a long time. In addition, when you apply alcohol as a drug, then surely been in the past of America, where its availability is not as strong and regulates the social morality of its use of high and low tide, there have a series of school shootings. However, there was not. Clinton was the only pre-school shooting in August 1966 in Austin, Texas, in July 1976 in Fullerton, California.
The decade of the 1980s after the liberal media, was the decade of greed. Ten years ago, when the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The decade of Reagan and economic impact. So why is not there no school shootings, then?
So let us postulate a possible explanation of the discussion, that the cause was for the shooting at a school in the Clinton era (which makes most of the 1990s) because of greed. If this explanation were correct, then we must ask what quantum of greed was necessary to provide two school shootings in the cause of his presidency? Then, the amount of lead was greed in America during the Clinton presidency from 28 school shootings? Why is there been a huge increase in combined yaw during the Clinton presidency than any other president? Also, why the greed factor down in 1995? This was the only year of his presidency, in which there were no school shootings.
Furthermore, how greed could be the explanation since the 1990s, not a decade of greed? What do we do with the fact that greed could be the explanation for the shootings in schools to be? Are we saying that the shooters were greedy? Or that the victims were greedy? Who was greedy? Was it when the current president? Who was it? Of course it’s important. Also, how greed was necessary to introduce school shootings?
Are we to believe that if some person or persons who have a certain amount of greed and lead school children access to firearms and people start taking pictures at school? Greed is not the cause of school shootings. Greed alone can not explain why 96 percent of school shootings occurred while Bubba and Dubya presidency compared statistically with the majority of the terms of other presidents.
Could we have distributed the statement that our schools for Bubba and Dubya, the terms are uncertain or insecure? If this were true, then we should have known that in the state pre-Clinton years, when schools safe or protected, that there were two shootings. So, as the schools were different back then? Simple – time schools did not have metal detectors, uniforms mandatory zero tolerance policy, the classes were larger, there were not so many gun laws as they are today, and there was better access to weapons. In over 30 years, were systematically said prayers in class, as were the oath of allegiance and more classes taught in English.
I offer is the only explanation that Satan main cause of these tragic events. It’s time for him to act. Given the many examples of acts of the sinful nature of Clinton, it is clear that it is the devil. “Who does what sin is of the devil because the devil has sinned from the beginning …. That’s how we know we are children of God and who are the children of the devil: that is not, which is certainly not a child of God “(1 John 3:8, 10). Christ said the devil, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy” (John 10:10). All human beings are born in sin and Satan are members of the tribe, so to speak.
So where does Dubya fit? Easy. The Bible says, “But now I am writing you do not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, drunkard or a swindler with a man not even eat .. “1 Cor. 05.11. Dubya has worked from day to protect and honor the spirit of the Antichrist in Bubba. Remember the first day of the inauguration of Dubya is, when there was a boat-load of evidence that the Clintons and their ilk, destroyed, damaged and stolen property from the White House, Dubya put his foot firmly to ensure there was only an appearance of an investigation into these acts. ” / P> Dubya presidency during training, we find that he and his father are becoming closer to Bubba and his wife. Much has been written on this burgeoning romance. See, for example, the following: (1 ) Conservatives in bush Clinton Loveless, 15 June 2004 article Newsman annoyed, (2) Presidents: Bubba and Dubya-Warming Up, January 8, 2005, MSNBC article, (3) of Clinton, Bush’s tone Super Bowl tsunami , January 27, 2005, article Newsman, (4) Bush Picks Brains Clinton, the father, April 9, 2005, Washington Times article, (5) President Bush and Clinton called the effort to support Hurricane Relief, September 1 2005, press release from the White House. Have

God has clearly nothing to do with such a brother as quoted above says. Bubba certainly meets this description. Plus course, violates two of Bush blatantly the word of God. Dubya actually said, basically, only Bubba could understand life, because they are both presidents. What it really says is that because we both are sinners, and we share the same job description (or life experience, or had the same women, or deprived of these same people, and so on), it is natural and beneficial, we eat together. We are in communion with each other. But God said to have done nothing for sinners. Not even a dinner with him or her.
It seems to me that we must conclude that God is evil. Second Corinthians was inspired but not meaningless verbal vomit (IV3 or cubic). The brand is dirty, but the reality is that in life, for life, these two men alone have the option of 96% of all school shootings to put in the Americas are available. Some say, however, even if Satan came to steal, kill and destroy these outliers is meaningless. All these dead, wounded and their families are devastated to be “comforted” and supposedly only with their loss as we are told, are to trust these two men? How would it be compatible with the word of God? Especially after the devastation of disobedience Bubba and Dubya has done to America.
Citizens of the kingdom of darkness, who have continually provided the fruits of the sinful nature in Galatians 5, as mentioned above, is. This was mentioned by the Apostle John in 1 John 3:09. He writes: ” No one born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him: he can not sin because he is born of God. ” Clearly, investigating the actions of Clinton and in my book available, the only conclusion to be reached, he had heard Satan. Clinton enjoys incredible support of the devil. We can say that for the United States, it is a number of the devil.
Why was the moment for the Devils to 67 percent of school shootings in America? And 96% of them while Bubba and Dubya presidency. That is the question, my friend. This is the question, so that appropriate action can be entered. Take another piece of the legacy of beating Clinton. This is the extraordinary increase in “hate” sites such as the Simon Wiesenthal Center tracked. After them, the number of hate sites, before the Oklahoma City bombing was only four. Then he went over 2500! Of course, we must ask why the sudden increase after this act of domestic terrorism.
Remember the Oklahoma City bombing April 15, 1995 occurred. This year was the only year where no school shootings took place during his reign. The Oklahoma bombing killed 168 Americans. We know that (as recorded in the Book of John, Chapter 8:44 ET 10:10) to Jesus, Satan, “… was a murder from the beginning, not holding to the truth, because there is no truth in him “and” The thief comes only to kill, steal and destroy. “
Could 28 school shootings have taken during the time of Clinton as president of coincidence? Or rather it was that during his reign, it is time for Satan to enter and kill 219 people and wounds 100 others was that, although only two agents and what are the possible reasons for the explosive growth of hate sites on the Internet to explain it? It the fault of Al Gore because he claims to have invented the Internet? Why should the incredible ease, give opinions and stories to publish on the Internet as a large number of hate sites since 1995
Could it be that all the enemies of men suddenly in 1995, Online? This is not a likely explanation, then what other reason could there be? If everyone suddenly made enemies to spread their message through the Internet? Is hate all part of a great left wing conspiracy, if so, where evidence of such a statement should be supported? Furthermore, why turn the pages, after the Oklahoma bombing? Are all part of a scheme well orchestrated by Attorney General Janet Reno to discredit the Internet and demonstrate a reason for its regulated, is approved and imposed by the federal government

A? – It is easy to show that testify to the continuous action words of Clinton and his administration, they are citizens of the kingdom of Satan. Therefore, it should not surprise you that Satan uses the time of this man in office, Dubya and embrace him, to spread death and destruction across America. This result was expected both by the Americans as the daily sunrise in the east.
Writing the Bible, New International Version ® Copyright © 1973, 1984 International Bible Society Incorporated. Currently, the title offers more than 9.320 miles of hiking trails. The longest runway in the United States is the North Country Trail, which stretches over 4,600 miles from New York to North Dakota. The Huashan Road, Shaanxi Province, China is not for the faint of heart.
Choose Wisely……

November 2008 Shooting Tip

As you would expect, I field a lot of questions about shooting methods. Which is best, where and why. 30 years of sporting and watching literally millions of targets from behind the trigger has taught me this.

No one shooting method is best for all targets. The wide diversity of target presentations in sporting clays strongly suggests we have more than one shooting method in our skill inventory.

For instance, what method would you use on a fast, left to right, 40 yard crossing target off a tower? Well for starters, what breakpoint have you chosen on this bird? An early breakpoint will likely mean the speed of the bird is up, requiring a suitable lead. Midway through the flight the bird speed has slowed, changing the lead. Eventually running out of speed the bird is still a crosser, but the lead has again changed. Finally, the bird begins its descent creating another new lead picture altogether. And that picture might change 2 or 3 more times depending upon how far the bird has to fall. 1 target, 6 possible breakpoints. The odds are high the shooting method you used on the first two breakpoints won’t be the same method you would use on the last two breakpoints.

At Paragon, we primarily teach the pull away shooting method. Pull away creates excellent muzzle control and handles lead issues nicely for the majority of the presentations we face. It is a superb foundation method. But pull away is definitely not for all targets. When a particular target presentation calls for it, we also teach Churchill, swing-through and maintained lead because these methods have their advantages as well. And then there are methods for chandelles, those targets that curl, roll, slide and dive.

The key is having these shooting methods in your repertoire and knowing precisely what to use and where. Because the advantages go to those who are prepared.

“Choose Wisely” is Part 1 of an ongoing series of tips on shooting methods. Over the next few months, the monthly shooting tips will focus on one method – why and where you might want to use it – and the strengths and weaknesses of each method

Sporting Clays Tips, Clay Target Techniques, Wing Shooting Preparation
Time proven tips to make you a better Sporting Clays, Clay Target, Wingshooting, Skeet, Trap, or recreational shotgun shooter.

Most all Clay & Wing shooters desire to shoot better. But for many, shooting mistakes create frustration during competition, in the field, and even during practice sessions. Dan Schindler teaches shooters, from all skill levels, a shooting process that creates more consistency and proficiency by eliminating mistakes both before and during the shot.
Each month, Dan provides a new shooting tip to help you be more consistent in the shooting box and on your scoresheet.

Gun UP vs Gun DOWN
March 2008 Shooting Tip

Full Article

The fastest way to take random gun movement (RGM) out of your swing is to pre-mount your gun. As sporting clays shooters – when shooting gun up – it’s important that we not forget to raise our head and relax the shoulders. Head up allows us to see – and shoulders down keeps much needed body movement in the swing. Gun up works in sporting clays.

However, the modified gun up position proposed above does not entirely compensate for the advantages of gun down. The gun down position offers advantages gun up can’t. First, gun down – partially or all the way to the F.I.T.A.S.C. line – does a better job of clearing the gun out of your vision. You might not think it would, but it does. Secondly, gun down in all ways creates a more natural, instinctive swing. Underestimating the importance of that is to handicap yourself on the sporting clays range as targets dive and dodge on irregular lines of flight. It is here when gun down really earns its keep.

Don’t forget, gun up or gun down, reducing RGM in your swing is always a high priority. With all the advantages of gun down, it also opens the door for more RGM. Taking your for-end hand To The Target (move first,…then mount and shoot) will greatly reduce RGM in your swing.

Both gun up and gun down have advantages. Learning which one to use on various target presentations will definitely put the odds in your favor.

Now is this the question to be asked!!! They just exist because they are shooting games! And they are just shooting games!!! Feel like paid in same coins? Well, there is an interesting story that lies behind the curtains.

The shooting games were originally had in mind for the hunters who wanted to develop their hunting the target skills. Such games got found international recognition hundreds of the years back when ancestors thought that this is not only an art, but it is something that to be appreciated. Finally shooting games were highly encouraged by different sport associations. There is no doubt that the game requires great deal of coordination and discipline with perfect eye that can judge the distance and the object. Speed is another criterion that comes every now and then when you are at shooting.

Turning the table again, shooting game was again thought to have more fun than actually it was been proclaimed. The virtual shooting sport improved the confidence of the physically deprived individuals and such games tested a player’s ability in marksmanship and strategies. But then, what about the people who do not want to go to the field where they are given heavy rifles with only few functions!!! Kicking off this old tradition, the manufacturers of computer or video games came up with ultra modern shooting games that not only changed all the definition of excitement but they also proved that shooting games online or on computer or TV is more popular than carrying real rifles, wearing goggles and earplugs on the field!!!

Here, rifles are never to be serviced though they are million times more powerful than the original ones! This made children crazy and adolescents mad!!! Shooting games then brought revolution in online gaming zones wherein millions of players started playing such games online – free of cost. Target shooting, skeet shooting, trap shooting, short/long distance shooting were now very old fashioned since the ultra modern hi-tech arms supplied in shooting games were highly empowered with zoom (crosshair) and the bullets that were more deadly than what we have at real gun-store! You can launch missile, have night-vision camera fitted on the gun and most importantly, you get bullets free of cost, somewhere in the box or behind the doors!!!

Shooting games have redefined the entire genre of the action games in video/computer games. Psychiatrists do believe that such shooting games or action games do sharpen hand-to-mind connection and the player, if playing positively, can improve their adroitness and judging skills. More often, players playing such games also have many dimensional thinking since they always think about how to accomplish the mission without losing any energy or the main character. The shooting games that are played with a squad (two players or more) improve the communication skills and teach the teamwork, as admitted by some of the game experts.

Overall, shooting games were introduced as just games to win points but over the times, they have become passion that millions of players across the world play and remain hale and hearty!

While most people would think that hunting is only for serious sportsmen, recreational shooting should change their minds. Recreational shooting includes the sport of trap and skeet shooting as well as the popular paint ball and air gun variations. Sling shot shooting is also part of this category along with soft air gun shooting.

Trap and skeet shooting is the sport of shooting clay targets by using a shotgun. These clay targets are called clay pigeons and are released into the air at high speeds. Originally using live pigeons, this sport changed the targets to clay discs for a more reliable and humane target. Trap and skeet shooting equipment, include, aside from a high quality shotgun, target throwers, clay targets or discs and of course, shotgun ammunition.

Paintball shooting or simply known as paintball is a recreational shooting sport where competitors try to eliminate each other from the playing field by shooting each other with paint filled gelatin capsules. Using a compressed gas-powered gun or known to paintball enthusiasts as a marker, these paint-filled balls are shot at opponents at an estimated velocity of 300 feet per second, as per safety standards. Paintball hits are painful at any velocity or distance, hence the implementation of safety rules and gear. One safety precaution is in the mandated use of a paintball mask and goggle system. These safety accessories are usually sold as a set and may go for $24.99 to $69.99. Other equipment required for this sport include the marker and the paintballs. Markers sell for somewhere between $99.99 to $299.99, depending on the brand. Paintballs are sold at prices that range from $11.99 to 34.99, depending on the number of balls in the package.

Air guns are pneumatic guns which use compressed air to propel a projectile through the air. Air guns, more popularly known as BB guns, come in rifle configurations. These air rifles come in calibers that include .177 inch or 4.5mm, .20 inch or 5.0 mm, .22 inch or 5.5mm and .25 inch or 6.35 mm. Rifles for this sport usually come in the price brackets of $29.99 for the least expensive model to the top of the line cost of $479.99. Accessories for air guns or air rifles are gun scopes, shooting glasses and of course, ammunition pellets available according to the gun’s caliber designation.

Soft air guns are a tamer and softer shooting version of the air rifles. Airsoft, as it is more popularly called, is usually used in war simulation tactical games or war games. As with paintball, airsoft games require a certain amount of protective gear to minimize injury. Impact-rated goggles are a must for this sport and the goggles usually used for paintball is often used here as well. Soft air guns can also be used alone with stationary targets.

Slingshots have come a long way from the old wooden prong and rubber band attachment used to launch stones and other projectiles. The modern slingshot is now composed of a steel prong with a molded plastic handle. While still using the basic principle of the old slingshot, modern sling shots offer a more accurate and controlled shot. These are also sold with their own glass ammo.

Clay shooting is the art of aiming at special flying targets. This sports activity has a long history as it was commenced way back in 1880. At that time, pheasant and grouse shooting were mainly popular in the UK.

During the period from 1883-1887, significant changes in shooting were witnessed when the first clay target was introduced in the game.

This form of clay shooting was well included in the Victorian and Edwardian hunting parties, where numerous birds were used as targets. People used to do regular practice of their shooing skills. In fact, institutions such as the Shooting Schools in London catered the desires and installed traps and towers that would facilitate flight of game birds. Later, many others targets were introduced as a discipline in shooting. Also, during this era only, it was given the name of sporting and tournaments were held in London to promote this sporting activity.

Before initiation of clay shooting, the game of glass ball was quite popular in England that took place in several parts of the United States. Historically, the first tournament of glass ball was held in 1867 in Boston. But, due to some reasons, it didn’t get its desired place.

In France clay shooting went under a real revolution when the first hand throwing device, the “Hand Trap” was used in shooting in the year 1927. That inventor of the throwing device was known as, Emile Laporte. In this shooting sport, targets are thrown from a machine known as a trap. The trap is made up of a spring which was loaded with throwing metal arm. The machine can throw the targets up to the distances covering the range the area of 135metres. In 1980’s, automatic traps were developed, giving a boost to the clay shooting sport and encouraging people to take up the challenge.

Carlos Boozer ended his slump with 27 points and 14 rebounds and the Utah Jazz snapped a two-game losing skid by beating the San Antonio Spurs 113-99 on Thursday night.

Deron Williams also scored 27 and had nine assists in Utah’s first win over San Antonio since April 2008. Andrei Kirilenko added 12 points and six assists and rookie Wesley Matthews scored a career high 12 points for Utah, which improved to 2-3.

Tim Duncan had 15 points and 13 rebounds. Tony Parker had 21 points but scored just four in the second half as the Spurs couldn’t overcome the Jazz’s shooting.

Boozer finished 12 for 20 and the Jazz went 44 for 83.

COWBOYS-WOEBEGONE WILLIAMS Cowboys WR Williams repeating frustrating refrain

IRVING, Texas (AP) — While Cowboys receiver Miles Austin breaks records, Roy Williams sounds like a broken record:

The player who cost Dallas three draft picks and a $45 million contract extension has offered the same refrain for weeks now. He’s frustrated, he can’t get on the same page with Tony Romo, and he doesn’t know why.

Williams added a twist this week by declaring himself the No. 1 receiver. He said “things are just doing No. 2′s way,” referring to Austin.

Austin has more yards and touchdowns in the past three games than Williams has in his first 16 with the Cowboys.

Austin set an NFL record with 482 yards in his first three starts. Williams has 447 yards for the equivalent of a full season in Dallas.

TEXANS-DEFENSIVE SWAGGER Houston’s defense has new edge

HOUSTON (AP) — Houston’s defense has a new attitude. Some might call it confidence, but the Texans prefer to call it swagger.

It’s a feeling that’s growing each week as this group improves and Houston keeps winning. On Sunday they’ll see if their newfound swagger can help at Indianapolis, a place where they’ve never won.

Cornerback Dunta Robinson says Sunday is the time for the defense to make a statement. The unit has been bolstered by the emergence of rookie linebacker Brian Cushing. He leads the team and all rookies with 66 tackles.

T25-TEXAS-SECURITY High-tech eyes of Texas security are watching

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — The high-tech eyes of Texas see all at Longhorns home games.

University officials have installed 43 surveillance cameras that watch the crowd from all angles in and outside of Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The stadium used to have four cameras.

The cameras can focus close enough to see facial expressions or catch someone sticking a bottle of alcohol under the bleachers.

The upgrade cost about $400,000 and was done as part of a $175 million stadium expansion and renovation in recent years.

No. 2 Texas (8-0) plays Central Florida (5-3) at home Saturday.

MAVERICKS-D-LEAGUE-LIEBERMAN Lieberman breaks another basketball gender barrier

DALLAS (AP) — The first woman to play pro basketball with guys is also the first hired to coach them.

Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman was introduced Thursday as the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks’ affiliate in the NBA Development League, which will tip off next November.

Lieberman is excited about the chance to help prepare players for the NBA and, of course, about breaking another gender barrier. She broke through as a player with the United States Basketball League in 1986.

Mavericks president Donnie Nelson is among the owners of the D-League team and it was his idea to hire her. This is no publicity stunt — she’s been a coach before and has run camps in the Dallas area for 26 years.

BKC–TEXAS TECH PREVIEW Knight’s focus is improving Texas Tech’s defense

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Texas Tech coach Pat Knight is keeping his expectations for the basketball team to himself — though he knows the Red Raiders can’t fall much farther.

Tech finished 11th in the Big 12 (14-19) last year, the school’s worst season since 2000. That was the year before his dad, Bob Knight, took over the program and led the Red Raiders to four consecutive seasons of at least 20 wins.

Pat Knight’s team won just three Big 12 games last season — one was against No. 9 Kansas — and he openly criticized officiating twice in a three-week span. The Big 12 slapped him with a public reprimand and a one-game suspension.

The younger Knight blamed himself for last year’s abysmal record, saying he focused on the wrong aspect — letting defense slip.

The Red Raiders will rely on man-to-man defense — the mainstay of Bob Knight’s teams.

RANGERS-HURDLE Hurdle named new Rangers hitting coach

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Former Rockies manager Clint Hurdle is the new hitting coach for the Texas Rangers.

Hurdle was hired Thursday, taking over the job that Rudy Jaramillo held for 15 years before turning down a one-year deal at the end of the season. Jaramillo then got a three-year contract to become hitting coach for the Chicago Cubs.

The Rangers plan to emphasize situational hitting over slugging next season. Texas hit .260 last season, 11th in the AL, but was second with 224 homers.

Hurdle was the Rockies manager for seven-plus seasons before being fired in May, and led Colorado to the 2007 World Series. Before being manager, he was the team’s hitting coach for five-plus seasons.

Written for the novice shooter, each shooting tip is a building block for the more advanced levels of shooting.

Good shooting starts in this very simple, easy-to-read book.

Readers have responded:

After our lesson Saturday I went home & made a page of notes – wondering as I wrote why you had not included these pearls of wisdom in Take Your Best Shot. Later that night I re-read your book & saw every one of them not only listed, but emphasized (maybe except for ‘cheek time’). It’s hard to overstate the added benefit of personal instruction & illustration compared to just reading the book.
An Introduction to Mental Training
Beyond The Target, an audio CD, is a perceptive, engaging introduction to the mental side of sporting clays performance. Produced and narrated by Dan Schindler, it provides the listener with a refined understanding of why shooters plateau, and why continued progress in the box and on the score sheet eventually becomes difficult. It offers a fresh, enlightening perspective on why our performance in the box is so dramatically affected by our thinking, beliefs, perceptions and concentration. The encouraging dialogue answers many of the key questions we’ve been asking ourselves before we step in, and after we step out of the shooting box. Delivering more than just suggestions and information, the author’s inspiring messages stay with the listener long after narration ends.
